Privacy Policy
Effective March 1, 2003, this Privacy Policy replaces
any previous version that has been established for our customers
(clients) dealing at any time with Goodman Factors.
What Should You Know?
We recognize our responsibility to keep information about you confidential
and secure. We do not sell or share client information with outside
marketers, so there is no need for you to tell us not to.
This policy covers client information, which means non-public client
information about a current or former relationship with Goodman
Factors. You are protected not only by Goodman Factor's commitment
to maintain your privacy, but also by state and federal laws.
How We Collect Personal Information
Goodman Factors collects, retains, and uses information about you
in an appropriate and responsible manner. Information will only
be collected when it is necessary or useful in order to operate
our business, to better understand your financial needs, to make
available products, services and other opportunities that may be
of interest to you, to help protect against fraud and as required
by law.
Uses of Shared Information
Goodman Factors does not share information in any way other than
what is described below and prescribed by law. Therefore, Goodman
Factors information sharing practices do not require opt out notices
to our clients.
To provide products and services you have requested or otherwise
authorized;
To maintain or service your accounts with us;
To comply with requests by our regulatory agencies; and
To comply with a law, regulation, reporting requirements, legal
process or court order as permitted by law.
We share information about your transactions with credit reporting
agencies as required or permitted by law.
Right to Financial Privacy
If we receive a subpoena or similar legal process demanding release
of any information about you, we will generally attempt to notify
you first unless we believe we are prohibited from doing so by law.
Except as required by law or as described above, we do not share
information with other parties, including government agencies.
Maintaining Accuracy of Information
Goodman Factors strives to ensure that the information it maintains
about you is accurate, current and complete. Procedures are in place
to respond to your requests regarding inaccurate information in
a timely manner. We maintain security standards and procedures to
help prevent unauthorized access to your information, and we regularly
review, test and update our technology and procedures to improve
the security and accuracy of such information. We investigate your
inquiries about information received from us (or from a credit bureau
reflecting information we have provided) that you believe to be
inaccurate. We correct information we determine to be incorrect.
Updates to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time.
